Vintage Brown Feathered Hat, Unusual 1950s Evening Cap 。This is an absolutely beautiful historical piece of millinery fashion from the fabulous fifties\'! The cap and short brim are made off brown felt. The brim is entirely covered in amazing iridescent gold beads and ends in a point at one side. The pointed area secures a tall/long pheasant feather which coordinates beautifully with the brown color iridescent beads. There is an elastic band attached to the inside of the hat to help keep the hat in place on top of the head. Throughout the 1950s, ladies wore hats daily as a part of their attire as was a pair of gloves. To preserve its market, the millinery industry set about creating variety and extravagance. They were now touted as the essential accessory to complete the ensemble. There is no designer label, indicating it was a custom-made creation. There is a size label: ADJ(ustable) Please keep in mind that you are buying a vintage hat, not new nor perfect! This is an authentic piece of fashion history! This hat is in wonderful vintage condition & has been lovingly preserved among over 1300 vintage hats we have collected for 40+ years.
